Assurance In-Home Care (AIHC) has the “Secret Solution”. Our mission is to keep you and or/your loved one save, healthy, happy and comfortable in your own home. We want to help you stay in your home as long as possible. We specialize in “private pay” or Long Term Care insurance clients, but we are currently in the application process for Medicaid/Medicare certification with SSA and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We will provide the best elder care service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We want to keep your home clean, safe, happy and healthy.
We specialize in the “First Time Deep Clean” to start our client off with an ultra healthy environment. With dignity and respect we provide services tailored to each individual. We have a menu of services that allows you to pick and choose the services you want and need. Remember, you are the boss! We are just here to help you.
Our in home assessments will be free of charge for all of our clients. We will do everything in our power to match you with an aide that best suits your needs.
About Our Owner
Priscilla L. Berry, the owner of Assurance In-Home Care was raised by a Baptist minister and a home health nurse. She is the daughter of a 90 year old mother. I’ve been there where you are today with a loved one who over the past 9 years gradually needed more assistance. I continue to managed her financial affairs, performed real estate transactions, managed aide services, hired cleaning services, performed and supervised major home repairs, organize inclusive family functions and try my best to do it all with a smile. Ultimately after a major health crisis that needed even more professional care, I made the decisions that needed to be made to keep her safe, comfortable and happy. She is not home bound. She can travel by car, visit old friends and family and recently attended her great granddaughter’s fourth birthday party. I pride myself (and I may be slightly bias) in having the most beautiful mom in Loudoun County. Find us on Facebook.com (Assurance In-Home Care) to see her picture!

Elder Community Care
For clients who can no longer stay in their own homes with one-on-one caregivers, we can be the perfect solution to help with the transition to other living arrangements. Other environments usually start with one-to-ten or one-to-twenty client-to-aide ratios.
Having a personal aide several hours a day, several days a week or just for outside appointments; helps families keep cost lower. Base cost remain the same but by using our aides to perform personal care duties and companionship care, the facility’s higher levels of care is lower because the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) are performed by the one-on-one attention from our elder care aides. This can lower the cost. If cost is not an issue, this method provides your loved one with the one-on-one attention they deserve.
A personal aide can also handle doctor’s appointments and outside activities so the primary caregiver does not miss work.
